Making s’mores with our kids has become one of our favorite weekend activities. We purchased our fire table last year and we’ve enjoyed it so much, I thought it would be fun to share my picks for fire tables, patio decor, outdoor rugs and the unique things we use to make the tastiest s’mores ever!
Fire tables
We purchased our fire table in 2020 and it was one of our best purchases of the year. We’ve used it countless times with our kiddos who LOVE to make s’mores and sit outside by a fire.
Propane fire tables can get pretty pricey (plus you have to buy other pieces like a propane tank and cover), so if you’re shopping on a tight budget, go for a version where you build a real fire. I’m adding my favorites to this collage below!
Patio decor
I love a cozy outdoor space! To me, a few of the key features are some sort of twinkle lights, lantern or candle and plenty of blankets for fireplace snuggles.
Outdoor rugs
I’ve noticed the options for outdoor rugs are getting better (and less expensive!) over the past few years. It’s getting a lot easier to find outdoor rug options that mirror your indoor decor style!
S’mores ingredients
I love a fancy s’more! Keeping a (well hidden) stash of s’mores ingredients is one of my best mom hacks. I love being able to create a special experience for my kiddos on a whim. The only problem is my husband always eats all the thin Reese’s, but I still try my best! Haha.
Thanks so much for reading!! If you have any s’mores secrets I’d love to hear! XX- Elsie

Reece’s are SOOO expensive in Australia. About double what you’d pay for them, plus something like a thin one only comes from speciality places. Have never seen a graham cracker. Smores just don’t work well over here.
Ritz crackers are a yummy alternative to Graham!
I love using the cookies and cream bars in s’mores, too! I’m definitely going to have to try the Reese’s thin trick. Sometimes I like to do a smear of Nutella on the graham cracker in place of your usual chocolate bar. It does require something to spread with, but is so worth the minimal extra effort.
That looks really great!
I love using graham crackers, toasted marshmallows, and LEMON CURD! It’s a mini lemon meringue pie that is so easy to make.
I love a good Reese’s smore! Andes mints are also great. I’ll have to try the chocolate cracker/cookies n’ cream combo 🙂
