I glued the felt together with hot glue instead of sewing and just didn’t use heavy items in them, and it worked great!

This is such a cute advent calendar and super adaptable to any decor style of the home! And for small spaces I think you could hang the structure on the back of the living room door or the kitchen

I love love love this! I agree that it’s worth the effort to create something you’ll bring out each year. It’s not until you’re a few years in that you see how much your kids love the tradition of some things.
