What’s fun about this spiced apple cider recipe, other than the fact you need very few ingredients and that it’s super easy to make, is that you can make this a cocktail or a mocktail. Either way, it’s wonderful!

In a small pot, heat the apple juice, spices, and rum (if using) over low/medium heat. Stir often while the mixture is heating so the spices will blend into the juice (you don’t want any spice clumps).
Once it’s hot, pour into two mugs and garnish with apple slices and cinnamon sticks. Serve warm, while wearing a turtleneck sweater (Note: turtleneck sweater is optional). Cheers!

I’m going to make this for a fall party this Friday. We’re going to use fresh apple cider in place of the apple juice from many of the orchards here in Maine. We’re making two gallons of it for a party and will leave it in a slow cooker.
love this stuff. its just to bad that no one in my family will drink it.
Wow, delicious! I’m gonna try this very tasty and so easy.
Thank you thank you thank you! As an americanliving abroad, I can now make this on cold autumn nights as well as serve it to my English boyfriend who has never had proper American cider x
