One tip (pardon the pun), is to paint with your less dominant hand first. That way if you duff up, you don’t mess up all your good work. With the good hand painted, you can paint the weaker hand more confidently. And I always leave clean up til the end, but that’s my preference.

And practice makes perfect, so not to worry if you don’t get it right first time. Again, my tip would be to run with a light/natural shade until you have more control in your technique.
